After working in the corporate world in Boston for a few years, I decided it was time for a big change. My husband and I left our jobs, sold/gave away most of our stuff, and headed out to travel for the foreseeable future. Ironically, we made it to our first country of Japan and decided we couldn’t bear to leave.

We got jobs teaching and stayed for two years. We spent most of our time eating ramen, learning Japanese, and exploring the countryside. It was the adventure of a lifetime.

This blog is dedicated to hopefully inspiring others to see that travel is only as hard as you make it. You don’t need a big budget to travel, you just need to make it a priority.
